Questions, answered
Which kit fits my pool?
Pick by gallons: the 1/2 HP kit runs pools up to 10,000 gallons with 1 solar panel, the 1 HP up to 20,000 with 2, the 1.5 HP up to 25,000 with 4, the 2 HP up to 35,000 with 6, and the 3 HP above that with 8. The quote on this page sizes it from your island address.
Does it run at night?
It runs on solar power. Home power is optional and switches on by itself when needed, for example a spa at night.
Do I need home power for the solar to work?
No. Unlike grid-tie solar, no AC is needed for the solar to work: the panels drive the pump directly.
How much can I save?
Save up to 30% on the utility bill, varies by sun and rate. The quote shows your earliest payback against the kit price, for your own pool on the islands.
